The Government of Kosovo will subsidize the Border Insurance policy for Diaspora citizens.

Starting from July 1, the coverage of the cost of the border insurance policy for diaspora citizens returning to their homeland has begun.

The one-month insurance policy for all passenger vehicles with up to 9 seats can be obtained free of charge at all entry border points.

According to this decision, from July 1, all diaspora citizens traveling to Kosovo with passenger vehicles will be able to receive the insurance policy free of charge at any entry border point.

The subsidized policy will apply to passenger vehicles with up to 9 seats.

This subsidy does not apply to vehicles registered in neighboring countries (Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia)

In accordance with the agreement with the Government of Kosovo, the insurance policy is subsidized only in physical form at all BKS border points of sale.

Other sales channels, such as the website (e-Commerce) or the BKS central offices, remain subject to payment.
